Oh Baby Kellen, you gave daddy and me quite a little workout! Ok, i admit, i let daddy do most of the chasing while I snapped all the cute photos. So we (dad) chased Kellen around the studio for a while until we smooth wore him out and got the most adorable photo of him in his dad’s fatigues. It wasn’t the photo I planned on taking with them but I certainly can say it was probably a much easier photo to get! Now can I get an Awwwwwwww………..

I just loved photographing Amber and Aarons beautiful little Ava Joy! Isn’t that just the best name for a little girl ever. I could tell they were both excited for the photo session and you know that just makes me all giddy inside. So lets just get to the accessories, i’m an accessory girl for sure. Let me just put it on the record if you bring me any combination of these things I will forever love you…..a tutu, an oversized flower hat, an adorable headband of any kind, or a textured blanket. Amber brought them all, she is my new best friend! Enjoy these scrumptious little bits of sweetness!

Well it appears that i’m not going to get around posting each of these guys individually so for my wonderful blog readers i’m gonna at least get some senior pics up for you to look at. I’d love to tell you about my adventures with each of them individually but we’ve got lots of great things in the works around here tying up all my time (blog about that upcoming news later). Alright….here he is the most adorable chubby nephew EVER and Can’t you just eat him up!! I have lots more to post but here’s a sneak peak! It actually took us 2 sessions to get these pics, which has NEVER happened to me and of all the people it happens with my baby brother. Guess it’s good it was family but I would have just died to get great newborn photos of everyones elses baby’s and one of my nephew. Luckily on the second try even though he was a couple of weeks older he was a perfect angel….a little trait he picked up from his auntie lisa i’m sure!!

OOOOOOOOklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the planes….Sheeeesh, have you been outside this week. Well it’s a wonder you didn’t get swept away by the craZzy winds we’ve been having. Kayla here was scheduled to have outdoor pics on one of those particularly windy days this week but pretty much decided to move it all indoors after standing outside with her freshly curled hair for all of about 2 seconds. Now I would have been happy to do her outdoor pics on another day but Kayla hates having her picture taken so she just wanted to get it all over with in one day! I always love it when people say they hate having their picture taken, it’s like a personal challenge to me to MAKE them enjoy their session with me! Anyone who knows me, knows how incredibly competative I am!! So we photographed Kayla in the studio and I’m pretty sure she didn’t hate it! If nothing else her mother and I had a grand ol’ time, Kayla’s hair was beautiful the entire time and she is going to love, LOVE her pictures!!!

I know, I know…..I’m a total dud for neglecting my blog for so long! I got all relaxed over spring break then was jetted full force into the craziness we like to call spring! So for you those of you who i missed getting your sneak peak up, you know how sorry i am and i’ve got those up on fb for you now. And for those future you’s i’ll try not to get behind again!

That being said, up next is little Miss Nikki G! Now Nikki believes and has managed to convince her mom and friends that she is unphotogenic! I have to firmly disagree, and after looking at these photos i’m sure you will too! We took a short field trip to my new favorite abandoned location, I love pairing a dainty outfit with the textures of the location. It makes a fabulous photo and I was thrilled that she was up for trying it out! And in perfect spring fashion we felt rain drops on our shoulders just as we were headed back to the car…whew! So here are my picks for the “unphotogenic” Nikki G.

I’m obviously not suffering from a shortage of beautiful girls to photograph here at the studio and Whitney was no exception. A little on the nervous side, i love it when I get to bring them out of their shell and create great images for them all the while having a fun time! I’d say 80% of girls come in and say how nervous they are which is kinda funny to me considering how much practice they have photographing each other all year….yes sometimes I do look at your fb pages….hahahaha! But regardless that usually quickly goes away once the music is turned up and we get to chatting or I fall off my ladder or something crazy!!!!

Check out these adorable pics newborn pics of little Holland. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with a baby in a tutu, that’s just total perfection right there! We photographed Holland at home in her nursery. I photographed her sister in this same nursery 3 years ago but it wasn’t hard to do something different. i just love her mom, Shannon. She has filled her home with lots of antique furniture like this beautiful rocker that was her grandmothers….can you imagine 4 generations of babies being rocked to sleep in this! i just love it, love it!

I loved Taylors soft natural style and was so happy that it was a beautiful day outside when she came in because she is definitely an outdoors kinda girl. We played in the field, the creek and even had a little studio fun with this great little…okay its huge…painting that i got in a little studio set swap out with my loveable photog friend Jen!! I get bored easily of my stuff here at the studio shooting on it so much, so if you see something you like you better schedule soon or it might just be traded off next time you come in! Now for the main attraction….
